Water Play Day (and other fun!)

We got together with our Moms Club this past week and rented a water slide and snow cone machine! It was a fun, three hour long playdate with our friends. Especially great because at 9am, it was already hitting 100 degrees :) By the time we left it was 111. I was so glad that Aaron stayed behind with my mom in the cool house. He would have loved the water, but not the weather! Nate never left the slide-he was either too busy sliding or playing in the little pool at the bottom. It was a great morning!

Earlier in the week the boys and I visited one of our favorite museums, Arizona Museum for Youth. Every few months they have a different theme (kids related) of artwork and activities, plus a play area. Usually my boys care a whole lot about the play area and not so much yet for the rest ;) But I still enjoy getting to see the different pieces and activities they match up.

Nate leaves tomorrow with my parents up north to Heber to enjoy the somewhat cooler temps and cabin life :) We visited there last summer and he enjoyed it so much! He's a big outdoorsman; loves to fish and hike. Aaron and I are looking forward to lounging around and getting to play with whatever toys we want to :)  Happy 4th!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a great Father's Day weekend-presented hubby with crafts we made during the week for him and got to enjoy some pools!

The past week began our upper ,triple digit temperatures so I busted out this pool we got on clearance last summer. Pretty cool for $15, huh? I thought it would be nice for Aaron, but big brother was just as excited. Dinosaur head with balls,slide, a tree that sprouts water and water also comes down under the blue strips.

Camarillo, CA

After Disneyland we headed to this city for my best friend's wedding. While I was attending to her, the boys got a chance to hang and have a picnic on the beach that wasn't far away.

Then the wedding fun began! It was beautiful- garden setting, perfect weather...and a beautiful couple :)

We had lunch on the beach the following day before we started to make our way back home. A good time was had by all, but I think we're each happy to be back home in our own beds :)

Disneyland

We spent three days at Disneyland before heading to my best friend's wedding in a different city. We were glad we had all that time as the parks were busy (not too surprisingly...) Lines averaged a half hr. We can't wait to go again and get to explore the Cars land!
