Yay! My younger sister was married last Thursday. We had a little threatening weather concern, but luckily the rain waited until the reception. Wonderful evening, and a beautiful couple!

Mother Nature Farm

Super hooray for cooler temperatures! Early in the mornings and later in the evenings, anyway. But we'll take it! The boys were in their glory last week when we hit up a local farm with friends. We had an awesome time and everyone slept well that night ;)

Mother Nature Farm is one of our favorites- they have pumpkin patch areas (each child gets to pick a pumpkin and they give out stickers to decorate it with), bounce houses, animals to see and a hayride.

I think Aaron enjoyed the animals the most and for Nate it was a tie between the bounce houses and hayride. Looking forward to another farm visit--and my sister's wedding this week, woohoo!

Halloween Party Time!

We marked the beginning of October by celebrating Halloween! It means I'm in for a long month, as I've now got my own kids and all my friends' kids riled up for the holiday ;) We had such a fun time. But first, someone else also got us into the spooky spirit by leaving us a Halloween surprise at our door--

Sissy's Bachelorette Slumber Party

Last evening we had a low-key, girls night in Bachelorette party for my younger sister. Her wedding is only twelve days away, holy cow! A few pictures to share from our fun night.

I think every mom has had a moment of marker panic. Nate has drawn on walls/doors before, but I don't remember him putting them in his mouth. Well...I didn't lose out on that experience. With Aaron there's never a dull moment!

Crayola Washable Markers are great things. With some warm water and a few rounds of teeth brushing the ink came off. This little guy is always into something! Taking DVD's off the case, opening and emptying drawers...by the time I pick up one mess I move right on to the next. What will the next mess be? :)
